Get started with Jeero MCP for Stager

Your concert programme is in Stager. Put it to work with Jeero MCP in ChatGPT, Claude or another compatible AI agent.

Ask about tonight’s concerts and ticket availability. Explore what needs attention, then let your agent help prepare a mailing, a social post or a daily briefing. Connect Stager in the four steps below.

Connect Stager in four steps

You need access to manage publication channels and events in Stager, a Jeero connection and an AI client that supports local MCP servers. The MCP server requires Node.js 20 or later.

1. Install Jeero MCP

If your agent can configure local MCP servers, give it this instruction:

Install and configure the local MCP server jeero-mcp using npx -y jeero-mcp. Then check that the Jeero tools are available.

Manual MCP configuration and setup help

You can also add the server using your client’s MCP configuration:

{
  "mcpServers": {
    "jeero": {
      "command": "npx",
      "args": ["-y", "jeero-mcp"]
    }
  }
}

The exact configuration location depends on your AI client. See the installation details on GitHub, or ask me for help with your setup.

2. Create your Jeero connection

Create a Jeero connection for my venue. Ask me for its name and select Stager as the ticketing platform.

Follow the configuration questions and copy the webhook URL supplied by Jeero for the Stager connection.

3. Connect Stager

  1. In Stager, open Settings → Integrations → My publication channels and create a new publication channel.
  2. Name it Jeero, paste the webhook URL and use jeroen@slimndap.com as the developer email address.
  3. Choose the Extended data set, save the channel and send the published event data from the channel.
  4. For each event you want Jeero to receive, select Publicity → Publication channels → Jeero and save the event. Include the channel when adding future events too.

4. Ask your first question

Synchronise the performances from my Stager connection. Report any synchronisation errors. Then show next week’s programme, start times and available ticket data, including the last successful synchronisation time.

Compare a few results with Stager. If events are missing, check their publication-channel selection and the channel’s initial data delivery. Missing ticket fields are not zero values.

Explore what you can do after connecting

Start with the question you already have

What’s on tonight? How many tickets are still available? Which concerts could use a little more attention? You know the questions. Jeero MCP brings your Stager programme into the conversation, so your agent can help you work through them.

“What’s on today, and how are the tickets looking?”

The answer can include concert details, start times and the ticket fields available through your connection. Ask a follow-up and the same information becomes a basis for choosing what to do next.

Turn concert data into a team conversation

A list of numbers is a starting point. Ask your agent which concerts deserve attention and why. It can bring dates, availability and, with a suitable sales source, sales over time into a dashboard for your team.

From there, explore the next decision. Should you focus your final Instagram campaign on tonight’s concert? What would a quiet, average or busy scenario look like? Ask the agent to work through a scenario using your historical sales, with the assumptions and uncertainty in view.

Connect Google Ads and actual ticket sales to examine campaign spend alongside the sales pattern. Ask “What stands out?” as well as “Show me the figures.” A useful answer points to a specific period or change and helps you decide what to investigate next. A pattern alone does not prove a campaign caused a sale.

Take the next step in the tools you use

Once you have chosen a concert, put your agent to work on the promotion. With your newsletter tool and your own newsletter skill, it can prepare a complete mailing: a band photo, subject line, concert story, ticket link and the familiar sections about getting to the venue, eating before the show and other concerts this week.

Ask separately for the office calendar or a social post. Your agent can suggest useful moments for the team and prepare a post with a band photo, caption and ticket reference. Your skills carry the venue’s format and tone of voice into the work.

“Prepare a mailing for this concert.”

The conversation keeps moving: “Shall I schedule this mailing?” You can decide on that next action right there.

The same approach helps with your website. Gather an artist bio, press images, videos and reviews from available sources, turn the material into useful concert copy and ask your agent to propose an update to the concert page. Applying it requires a website connection and the right permissions.

Make the useful work a routine

A good briefing should be there when you need it. With a planner and mail tool, your agent can prepare a morning update with ticket availability, today’s schedule and newly booked concerts. Tracking new concert bookings also needs a source that records those bookings and a comparison with the previous briefing.

Jeero supplies the concert data. Your agent reasons about it, your skills shape the output and your connected tools handle the next action. Start small and build the workflow around the way your venue works.

A few useful things to know

Can I use my own tools and skills?

Yes. Jeero supplies your programme data; your agent uses its connected tools and skills to do the work. A newsletter skill can follow your venue’s mailing format, while a social media skill can apply your tone of voice. Preparing content, updating a website or scheduling a briefing requires access to the relevant tool.

Where does the data go?

Jeero MCP synchronises through the Jeero service and stores an event cache on your computer. Data returned to your agent is handled by the AI service you choose. Additional tools have their own data settings.

What does it cost?

You can start for free with a fully functional Jeero connection for up to 10 upcoming events at any given time. If your venue has more than 10 upcoming events, you need to upgrade to a paid plan for up to 100, 500, 1,000, 2,000 or 4,000 events, billed monthly or yearly. See the plans and prices. Your AI client and additional tools may have their own costs and usage limits.
