Import Paylogic Events into Sugar Calendar

Use Jeero to sync your Paylogic events to Sugar Calendar in WordPress. You can start for free; you only need WordPress admin access, your Paylogic sales channel URL, and your Paylogic Reporting API refresh token.

1. Install Sugar Calendar

In your WordPress admin, go to Plugins > Add New and search for Sugar Calendar.

Install and activate the plugin. WordPress will add an Events section for Sugar Calendar. If another calendar plugin also uses an Events menu, look for the one with Calendars, Tickets, Venues, Speakers, and RSVP submenus.

2. Create a Sugar Calendar Calendar

Sugar Calendar often creates a default calendar called My Calendar. You can use that for your first import.

If you want imported events grouped separately, create a dedicated Sugar Calendar calendar before configuring Jeero. Jeero can assign imported events to one or more Sugar Calendar calendars.

3. Install Jeero

Go to Plugins > Add New and search for Jeero.

Install and activate the plugin. Jeero adds its own admin section where you can connect a ticketing solution to one or more WordPress calendar plugins.

You do not need a paid Jeero plan to test the setup. The free plan is enough to confirm that Paylogic events are arriving in WordPress.

4. Connect Paylogic

Open Jeero > Imports in the WordPress admin and create a new import.

Choose Paylogic as the ticketing solution and save the import once. Reopen the import, then open the Paylogic tab.

Jeero will ask for:

• Paylogic sales channel URL: the customer-specific sales channel URL Jeero should use to read upcoming Paylogic events.

Use the full sales channel URL supplied by Paylogic; this is not the public ticketshop URL.

• Paylogic Reporting API refresh token: the customer-specific refresh token Jeero should use to read ticket availability from the Paylogic Reporting API.

Ask your Paylogic contact for the Reporting API refresh token that belongs to this customer's sales channel.

• Language code: optionally choose which translation Jeero should use for titles, descriptions, locations, artists, and merchant names.

Leave this empty to use Dutch (nl). Jeero falls back to English and then to the first available translation.

If you do not have the customer-specific sales channel URL and Reporting API refresh token, ask your Paylogic contact for both before you start.

Save the import. Jeero checks both connections and, when the details are valid, shows how many Paylogic events it found.

5. Enable Sugar Calendar Import

Open the Sugar Calendar tab in the Jeero import settings.

Enable the import. If your site already has Sugar Calendar calendars, choose the calendar or calendars where the imported events should appear.

Save your changes. Jeero will now send upcoming Paylogic events to Sugar Calendar.

Start with the default import settings. After you have confirmed that events are syncing, you can tune event images, event content, locations, and custom fields. Leave Status for new events on Draft if you want to review imported events first. Choose Publish if the events should appear on the public website after the first import.

6. Check Your First Events

The first sync usually runs within a few minutes.

Go to the Sugar Calendar Events section in the WordPress admin and check whether your upcoming Paylogic events appear. Open one imported event and confirm the basics:

• The title matches the Paylogic event.
• The date and time are correct.
• The description and image are present when Paylogic provides them.
• The venue information is present when Paylogic provides one.
• The ticket link sends visitors to the correct Paylogic ticket page.
• Prices appear when Paylogic exposes usable price data.
• Status appears when Paylogic provides it.

If no events appear yet, wait a few minutes and check that the Jeero import is active, the customer-specific sales channel URL is complete, and the Reporting API refresh token is valid.

7. Show Events on Your Website

Sugar Calendar can show imported events through its event archive or through a page you build.

For the fastest check, open the Sugar Calendar event archive at ?post_type=sc_event. For a page you control, create a page such as Calendar, then add the Events Calendar block or Events List block. If you prefer shortcodes, use [sugarcalendar_events_calendar] or [sugarcalendar_events_list]. Review and publish draft events before expecting them to appear in public lists, then add the chosen page to your navigation.

Optional Event Improvements

Once the basic sync works, you can tune the import.

Good next improvements for this setup:

• Show the Paylogic subtitle, artists, merchant name, or ticket availability when your event template needs richer event information.
• Use custom fields when your theme needs the Paylogic event UID or Reporting API event ID.

Paylogic can also provide extra fields for custom templates, such as Paylogic event UID, Paylogic Reporting API event ID, event subtitle, event artists, and other platform-specific fields. Use them when your event pages, filters, or templates need more than the basic title, date, image, location, and ticket link.
