Extend Your Event Imports with Jeero’s Additional Sources

Jeero’s new Additional Sources feature lets you automatically enrich your event imports with rich metadata from external platforms like IMDb and Last.fm—no extra manual work required.

In collaboration with several venue partners, we integrated IMDb and Last.fm data into their WordPress sites using Jeero. To make this functionality available to every user, we’ve built it directly into the core Jeero plugin.

This feature works with any calendar plugin supported by Jeero (e.g., Theater for WordPress, The Events Calendar) and requires only a subscription per source—no additional plugin installations needed.

To get started, visit your import settings under Jeero → Imports, open the import you want to enrich, and enable Additional Sources on the General tab. Then subscribe to each desired source and configure its API keys.

Why this matters

By supplementing your ticket-platform data with plots, images, cast lists, artist profiles, and more, you deliver a more engaging and informative experience for your visitors, boosting ticket sales and reducing bounce rates.
