In this guide, you will connect your WordPress website to TicketSource. Next, you will sync your events with the All-In-One Event Calendar plugin. When completed, you will have a website for your organisation with an always up-to-date overview of your events, including featured images, full descriptions and event dates.

Prerequisites

  1. Make sure you have a working WordPress website.
  2. Obtain your TicketSource API Key from the Account > API Details menu option in your TicketSource account.

Step 1 – Install Jeero

  1. Go to Plugins → Add new in the WordPress admin.
  2. Look for ‘jeero’.

  3. Install and activate the Jeero plugin.

You now have a new Jeero menu-item in the WordPress admin.

Step 2 – Install All-In-One Event Calendar

  1. Go to PluginsAdd new in the WordPress admin.
  2. Look for ‘all-in-one event calendar’.
  3. Install and activate All-In-One Event Calendar plugin.
  4. Go to Events and click on the Create a free account button. You can also use the Sign in link if you already have a Timely account.
  5. Follow the instructions and finish all steps to connect your Timely account.

You now have a new Events menu-item in the WordPress admin:

Step 3 – Start the sync

  1. Go to Jeero in the WordPress admin.
  2. Click on ‘Start new sync’
  3. Select TicketSource in the Ticketing solution field.
  4. Select All-In-One Event Calendar in the Calendar plugin field.
  5. Click on Save Changes.
  6. Enter you TicketSource API Key:

  7. Click on Save Changes.

The sync is now active. Your events will be visible in All-In-One Event Calendar within 5 minutes:

Step 4 – Show your events on your website

  1. Go to Events in the WordPress admin. Notice that newly imported events still have the ‘Draft’ status.
  2. Edit a draft event and click on the Publish button. Repeat this until all events are published.
  3. Go to Events → Settings.
  4. Go to the View events tab and click on the View “Calendar” link.

You are now on your new calendar page with a list of all you upcoming events:
