Import PatronBase performances into WP Event Manager

In this guide, you will connect your WordPress website to PatronBase. Next, you will sync your performances with the WP Event Manager plugin. When completed, you will have a website for your organisation with an always up-to-date overview of your performances, including full descriptions, featured images and prices.

Prerequisites

  1. Make sure you have a working WordPress website.
  2. Obtain your API Key from the PatronBase APIAPI Settings menu option in your PatronBase account.

Step 1 – Install WP Event Manager

  1. Go to PluginsAdd new in the WordPress admin.
  2. Look for ‘wp event manager’.

  3. Install and activate WP Event Manager plugin.

You now have a new Even Manager menu-item in the WordPress admin.

Step 2 – Install Jeero

  1. Go to Plugins → Add new in the WordPress admin.
  2. Look for ‘jeero’.

  3. Install and activate the Jeero plugin.

Step 3 – Start the sync

  1. Go to Jeero in the WordPress admin.
  2. Select PatronBase in the Ticketing solution field:

  3. Click on Save Changes.

  4. Enter your PatronBase API Key:

  5. Click on Save Changes.

  6. Click on the WP Event Manager tab.

  7. Tick the Enable WP Event Manager import checkbox:

  8. Click on Save Changes.

The sync is now active. Your performances will be visible in WP Event Manager within 5 minutes:

Step 4 – Show your events on your website

Create a page called “events” and inside place the [events] shortcode. This page will now list your events.

Clicking on the tickets link automatically leads visitors to the corresponding PatronBase ticketing page:

Step 5 – Choose the right plan
