Prerequisites

  1. Check that your WordPress website is up and running.
  2. Get your Organizer ID from the URL when visiting the Fienta Settings page.
    For example: if your Settings page URL is https://fienta.com/my/organizers/1234/edit, your organiser_id is 1234.

Step 1 – Install Theater for WordPress

  1. Go to PluginsAdd new in the WordPress admin.
  2. Look for ‘theater for wordpress’.
  3. Install and activate Theater for WordPress plugin.

You now have a new Theater menu-item in the WordPress admin:

Step 2 – Install Jeero

  1. Go to Plugins → Add new in the WordPress admin.
  2. Look for ‘jeero’.

  3. Install and activate the Jeero plugin.

Step 3 – Start the sync

  1. Go to Jeero in the WordPress admin.
  2. Select Fienta in the Ticketing solution field:

  3. Click on Save Changes.

  4. Enter your Fienta Organizer ID:

  7. Tick the Enable Theater for WordPress import checkbox:

  8. Click on Save Changes.

The sync is now active. Your events will be visible in Theater for WordPress within 5 minutes:

Step 4 – Show your events on your website

You can show your upcoming events on a page.

  1. Go to Pages → Add new.
  2. Give your page a title (eg. ‘Upcoming events’).
  3. Click on Publish.
  4. Go to Theater → Settings → Display.
  5. Set Page to show upcoming events on to the page that you just created.
  6. Set Position on page to show above content.
  7. Click on Save Changes.
  8. Go to Theater → Settings → Style.
  9. Check Enable built-in Theater stylesheet.
  10. Click on Save Changes.
