Import Ents24 events into The Events Calendar

In this guide, you will connect your WordPress website to Ents24. Next, you will sync your events with the The Events Calendar plugin. When completed, you will have a website for your organisation with an always up-to-date overview of your events, including featured images, showtimes and genres.


  1. Make sure you have a working WordPress website.
  2. Request your Venue ID for the Ents24 API from your Ents24 contact. You can also ask me to look this up for you.

Step 1 – Install Jeero

  1. Go to Plugins → Add new in the WordPress admin.
  2. Look for ‘jeero’.

  3. Install and activate the Jeero plugin.

You now have a new Jeero menu-item in the WordPress admin.

Step 2 – Install The Events Calendar

  1. Go to PluginsAdd new in the WordPress admin.
  2. Look for ‘the events calendar’.

  3. Install and activate The Events Calendar plugin.

You now have a new Events menu-item in the WordPress admin:

Step 3 – Start the sync

  1. Go to Jeero in the WordPress admin.
  2. Click on ‘Start new sync’
  3. Select Ents24 in the Ticketing solution field.
  4. Click on the The Events Calendar tab.
  5. Tick the Enable The Events Calendar import checkbox.
  6. Click on Save Changes.
  7. Enter your Venue ID in the Venue field.

  8. Click on Save Changes.

The sync is now active. Your events will be visible in The Events Calendar within 5 minutes:

Step 4 – Show your events on your website

The Events Calendar automatically adds a page to your website with an overview of all your events. The exact URL of this page can be found like this:

  1. Go to EventsSettings in the WordPress admin.
  2. Stay on the General tab and scroll down to the Events URL slug field.
  3. In the instruction below the field you can find the URL:
  4. Click on the link.

You now see a beautiful overview with events, including a datepicker, keyword search and different view options:

Step 5 – Choose the right plan
