Import Billeto events into The Events Calendar

Prerequisites

  1. Make sure you have a working WordPress website.
  2. Make sure you have your Billeto client name (mandant) ready.

Step 1 – Install Jeero

  1. Go to Plugins → Add new in the WordPress admin.
  2. Look for ‘jeero’.

Step 2 – Install The Events Calendar

Step 3 – Start the sync

  1. Go to Jeero in the WordPress admin.
  2. Click on ‘Start new sync’
  3. Select Billeto in the Ticketing solution field.
  4. Select The Events Calendar in the Calendar plugin field.
  5. Click on Save Changes.
  6. Enter you Billeto client name (Mandant):

  7. Click on Save Changes.

The sync is now active. Your events will be visible in The Events Calendar within 5 minutes:

Step 4 – Show your events on your website

The Events Calendar automatically adds a page to your website with an overview of all your events. The exact URL of this page can be found like this:

  1. Go to EventsSettings in the WordPress admin.
  2. Stay on the General tab and scroll down to the Events URL slug field.
  3. In the instruction below the field you can find the URL:
  4. Click on the link.

You now see a beautiful overview with events, including a datepicker, keyword search and different view options:
